Discover Recovery Program
The Discover Recovery Program is designed for adult men and women seeking recovery from alcohol and other drugs. We offer a 3 to 12 month comprehensive program that includes two sessions per week.
The Discovery Recovery Program provides education classes regarding the physiological, psychological and spiritual aspects of addiction, 12-step orientation, HIV education, stress management skills, referrals for job skill assessment, and literacy assessment.
English and Spanish-speaking services are available.
The goals of the Discover Recovery Program are:
- To provide clients with information and education regarding the physiological, psychological and spiritual aspects of addiction, 12-Step orientation, acupuncture treatment, job skills assessment and training referrals, literacy assessment referrals, and HIV/AIDS, safe sex education.
- To assist the client in maintaining recovery while developing the emotional and psychological tools to maintain abstinence by addressing family, employment and financial issues.
The Discover Recovery Program serves multiple populations/groups including Proposition 36, Drug Court, Bay Area Service Network and Deferred Entry of Judgment clients.
