Sitike's Community Kindness Awards were awarded this year in honor of California State Assemblymember Gene Mullin and Soroptimist International of North San Mateo County.

Sitike Counseling Center Community Kindness Awards March 24, 2006

Sitike's Community Kindness Award was awarded this year in recognition of the South San Francisco Police and Fire Departments for their many years of tireless hard work on behalf of the people and community of South San Francisco.

In addition to an outstanding dinner and a rousing raffle, the evening was marked by a poignant and very personal keynote address by Sitike Board Member and former client, Elizabeth Risner. Beth moved the crowd to tears and to laughter as she shared her own personal story of addiction and recovery.
